My Projects
I learn by doing. These projects reflect that, some from the LSE Career Accelerator, others from public datasets that caught my interest and then more from questions I wanted to explore for myself. As I become more confident in the tools I am also working on how I approach problems. Being clear about assumptions, documenting decisions and aiming for solutions that are easy to follow and being open to feedback. Each project is a step toward working in a way that’s transparent, collaborative and designed to deliver value.
Business Analysis
Project 1 - Analysing retail marketing data, using MS Excel, PostgreSQL and Tableau. Identifying a business problem, visualising demographics and delivering visualisations, insights and recommendations designed to solve the business problem
Project 2 - Using Python to evaluate NHS appointment data. Creating visualisations to identify patterns and potential capacity problems and making recommendations to inform resource planning relative to growing demand
Project 3 - Getting more advanced with Python and also using R, using regression and sentiment analysis to predict business outcomes and make recommendations
Personal Projects
Whether it’s data from my obsession with cycling or public datasets that spark curiosity, I’m always asking questions and trying to solve problems that matter to me.
